From sign-in to a working connection
1. Install and authorise
Install XGate and have your IT administrator grant the required local XGateUsers membership.
2. Sign in
Complete Microsoft SSO and device verification for your configured environment.
3. Connect
Connect to the VPN, access your private resources and disconnect when finished.
Download XGate for Windows
Windows x64. Choose the manual installer for a single PC or the MSI packages for deployment by your IT team. Downloads are ZIP files: extract them before installing.
Manual installation
Extract the ZIP and run XGateSetup.exe. Setup installs WireGuard when it is missing, then installs XGate. Administrator permission is required.
Group Policy deployment
Download and extract both packages. Deploy XGate-Prerequisite-x64.msi first. Confirm the prerequisite is installed before assigning XGate.msi to computers through Group Policy.
The prerequisite installs WireGuard. Computer-assigned MSI packages install silently at startup; use staged deployment to ensure the installation order.
After installation: your IT administrator must authorize your Windows account or domain group in the local XGateUsers group. Sign out and back in after permissions change.
Already using XGate 1.0.3? Contact NetAdminX before upgrading. Older installations need migration to preserve VPN settings.
